Jackson Bravery Turrey just celebrated his first birthday on 10/09/09. He was born with several complex congenital heart defects including Double Inlet Left Ventricle, D-TGA, ASD, VSD, CoA, PS, Hypoplastic Right Ventricle and Straddling Right Atrioventricular Valve. His Cardiologists often refer to him as Single Ventricle because his right ventricle is non-functioning. He is currently post Glenn, his SO2 is at 85%, he is healthy, wonderful, brilliant and has just started walking!
I've started this blog to document his journey and will periodically post stories about the past, present and future.
